Fear of Rejection
I wish someone would have told me this truth when I was younger.
It seems obvious to me now however not to my younger self.
I recall that I did not do many things that I did not consider safe or that I was not certain of the outcome. I did not take big risks socially out of fear of rejection. Additionally, I did not take big risks publicly because of concern of their ramifications.
While that does not mean that I would have taken those risks if I have the opportunity again; but at least, I would be less afraid of them and I would address them more level-headedly. And thus, make better decisions.
